The Rotational Experience

  • A two-year program that includes two to four on-the-job assignments across a range of financial and accounting disciplines (e.g., sales and marketing finance, operations finance, R&D finance, or licensing and acquisition analysis)
  • A focus on building a strong foundation of business acumen, technical skills, and knowledge of Johnson & Johnson companies
  • A breadth and depth of experiences that are critical in preparing to be successful at the manager level and beyond

  • Forty hours of classroom and online training customized to individual needs
  • "Management Fundamentals" in year two combines e-learning and classroom training to develop critical organizational and people-development skills
  • MBA LDP summits that provide opportunities to gain exposure to senior finance leadership, to hear our business leaders provide updates on key business segments, and to learn about our Credo and our Global Leadership Profile

Coaching and Development

  • Supervisors provide coaching and development during each rotation
  • Each MBA LDP participant is also assigned a mentor to provide ongoing guidance throughout the program

Program Completion and Post-Program Expectations

  • Promotion is dependent upon the participant’s rate of development
  • Post-program opportunities are determined within the framework of existing business needs
  • Following promotion, participants utilize their experience in MBA LDP to take on the responsibilities of leadership

  • We’re looking for candidates with the potential to become "ready now" for success at the manager level within the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies.
